Energy
The wood processing sector, particularly those involved in residues processing, is a heavy user of energy - particularly electricity. It is therefore critical that fair representation is made by the industry on matters of energy price and supply. Many of the WPA members are members of the Major Energy Users Group, as is WPA as an affiliate member. You can click the link 'Major Energy Users Group' to visit their website. MEUG advocate strongly on behalf of energy users and are active in submitting on issues pertaining to energy.
