Conference Overview
Welcome to ForestWood 2010, a pan-industry conference being jointly hosted by Wood Processors Association (WPA), Forest Owners Association (FOA), Pine Manufacturers Association (PMA), Forest Industry Contractors Association (FICA) and supported by Woodco, NZ Farm Forestry Association (NZFFA) and Frame & Truss Manufacturers Association (FTMA).
This is the first time that the 4 organisations have held a joint conference which builds on the successes of previous individual and combined industry events/conferences which have attracted world class speakers and presenters. The conference was focused on the forest industry’s contribution to New Zealand’s future prosperity i.e. how it can maximise value through the value chain, the sector’s relationship with the community and the challenges facing the different sectors.
The conference was designed to present a diverse range of international and national experts discussing their views and experience within four key areas:

- Timber in Construction
